Violin Chamber Ensemble

This class will give students the unique opportunity to play in a violin ensemble. Students will learn to play Classical, popular, fiddle, and Christmas songs together as a group. Students will learn to rehearse as an ensemble, sightread, and play different genres of music together on the violin. At the end of the semester, students will perform in our winter and/or spring recitals. This class is open for new students at the beginning of every semester. Students are subject to playing evaluations at the beginning of each semester to determine eligibility and placement. Due to the challenging repertoire, this class is only open to intermediate and advanced players. To ensure plenty of hands-on instruction and personal attention, this class is limited to only 4 students.
