Adventures In Music Theory
This class is a deep dive into the world of music theory for ages 14 - 17yrs. Upon completion of this class, students will understand the basics of music, be able to sightread music with confidence, and understand key fundamentals of ear training. Students will learn basic rhythms, pitches in both bass and treble clef, sharps and flats, enharmonic pitches, tetrachords, and scales. Students will also be introduced to ear training where they will learn how to hear different rhythms, dynamics, and pitch directions. Students will also learn the basics of music history, highlighting the important musical elements that came from each era. This class is open to students who play any instrument and are looking to expand their understanding of music. This class is limited to only 4 students and will sell out, so register today!
