Mr Bob is a versatile multi-instrumentalist, and band and choir director who has enjoyed a long career as an international music educator, establishing several prestigious music programs, bands, and ensembles. Mr. Bob first taught piano in Scranton PA (1985-2001) including a regional recital with area piano teachers at Carnegie Hall in the Weill Recital Hall and on Public Radio WVIA (1996). Since 2001, Mr. Bob has taught general music K-12, and band instruments at Belem, Brazil; Riyadh, Saudi Arabia; Kuwait, and then to Sudan at the Khartoum International Community School (KICS) (2006-2018). At this school, Mr. Bob taught Middle and High School General Music leading to external exams through UK's Cambridge University's IGCSE program, as well as the Silver KICS Band had three band tours to Cairo, Egypt (2012), Addis Ababa, Ethiopia (2015), and Kampala, Uganda (2018). The band performed concerts at the Italian Embassy, EU Embassy, Norwegian Embassy, and twice at the British Embassy for the Queen's Birthday. The band also recorded two TV programs for Sudanese TV Stations. Mr. Bob was transferred to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where he taught Middle School General Music and directed the middle and high school bands, and choir at Escola Americana do Rio de Janeiro. Returning to the US, he had the pleasure of teaching general music K-8, directing the beginner and concert bands, and choir at Immanuel Lutheran School in Brandon, FL. His most recent adventure is working with the talented students at Lakeland School of Music, where he offers his skills and experience in piano, brass, and woodwinds.
