Devin H.
Devin is a dedicated percussionist based in Lakeland, FL, specializing in both rudimental drumming and drum set performance. He currently serves as an instructor for the Lakeland Senior High School Drumline, as well as Lakeland School of Music, and is committed to sharing his expertise and passion for drumming, empowering his students to embrace the discipline and rewards of the craft.
Devin has earned multiple State Superior awards from the Florida Bandmasters Association for his work in Solo Snare Drum and Jazz Drum Set, performed with various ensembles, including the Anchor and Swan Jazz Combo and Swansemble Jazz Group, and participated in the DCI SoundSport group Impact. He was also extended a Snare Drum contract with Siege Percussion, a WGI Open Class group, for the 2025 season. In addition to his performance career, Devin has cultivated a strong presence on social media under the name "Devin.Drums," where he shares his original rudimental compositions and drum covers. He is also the author and composer of “4 Measure Quick Licks”, a collection of his innovative drumming works.
